Company & Organisation
- Company Master: Company name, registration number, address, tax registration, base currency (NAD).
- Branches / Sites: Multiple branches; separate or shared ledgers and inventory.
- Fiscal Calendar: Define financial year and periods (monthly, quarterly, etc.).
- Currency: Base and additional currencies; exchange rates (manual or feed).
Users & Security
- User Master: Create users: login name, name, email, password policy, status (active/locked).
- Roles / Permissions: Define roles (e.g. Accountant, Warehouse, HR); assign menu and function permissions.
- User-Role Assignment: Assign one or more roles to each user.
- Data Access: Restrict access by company, branch, or department where applicable.
- Audit Log: Log user actions (who did what, when) for sensitive transactions.
Preferences & Defaults
- System Parameters: Default numbering, date format, decimal places, next document numbers.
- Module Settings: Defaults per module (e.g. default warehouse, payment terms).
- Workflow: Approval rules and workflows (e.g. PO approval by value).
Maintenance & Tools
- Database Backup: Schedule or run backups (if on-premise).
- Data Import / Export: Bulk import of masters (e.g. chart of accounts, items); export for migration.
- Period Close Lock: Lock closed periods to prevent posting.
- System Health: Version, licence, and connectivity checks.
