Employee Master

  • Employee Master: Maintain employees: personal details, ID, tax number, employment date, department, position, salary details.
  • Employee Browse: Search and filter employees; view employment and pay history.
  • Organisation Structure: Departments, cost centres, and reporting lines.

Leave Management

  • Leave Types: Annual leave, sick leave, unpaid, etc.; accrual rules.
  • Leave Balance: View current and projected balances per employee.
  • Leave Request: Submit and approve leave requests; deduct from balance.

Attendance

  • Time Entry / Timesheet: Record hours worked; optional by project or cost centre.

Payroll Setup

  • Earning Types: Basic salary, allowances, bonuses, commissions.
  • Deduction Types: PAYE, pension, medical aid, garnishee, other.
  • Tax (PAYE) Rules: Namibian tax tables; periodic updates for statutory changes.

Payroll Processing

  • Pay Run: Calculate payroll for a period: gross, deductions, net; preview before post.

  • Journal to GL: Post payroll summary to General Ledger (salary expense, PAYE liability, etc.).

Statutory & Compliance (Namibia)

  • IRP5 / Tax Certificates: Annual tax certificates for employees.
